The functionality:

Real-time shipping calculator
The rate calculator makes use of the Suburb & Postal Code combination at checkout.

We understand the cost of distribution, so we’ve included the following to cover handling and or packaging cost;
• You can amend the rate returned – increase or decrease the calculated shipping cost – this can be positive or negative
(-) and a fixed amount or percentage.
• Make use of our flat-rate option to charge a standard rate across all delivery destinations.
• Enable a Free Shipping charge based on the value of the shopping cart.
• Failover Amount should for whatever reason the solution not return a delivery cost, it will return the fallover delivery
amount.

Note: In order to make use of our Real-time Shipping Calculator, you need third-party calculated rates at checkout enabled.
If you are on the Advanced Shopify Plan or higher, then you can use your carrier account credentials to display calculated
rates at checkout.
If you do not have the third-party calculated rates at checkout enabled our solution makes use of you default Shopify
Shipping rates at checkout.

Automated box packer algorithm
In a matter of seconds, the packer will calculate the correct number of boxes an order can be packed into. This includes
whether the items in the cart will fit into any of the A2, A3, A4 and A5 Fastway satchels and if not, it’ll continue to pack
the items into a custom box. We’ve included the functionality to add custom boxes.
We’ve included the ability to disable any one of the four Fastway satchels – this will stop the packing algorithm to pack
orders into these bags.

Products
Included in the Fastway for Shopify application is our ‘Products’ tab. Our Shopify application will automatically import all your
Shopify products. This is where you can add in the dimensions and weight of each product to ensure 100% accurate delivery cost
gets calculated on checkout.

Create shipments
You can decide whether you’d like to review each order before you create a shipment, or simply automate this process via Hooks.
If you’d like to automate the label creation via Shopify Hooks you must be on the advanced Shopify plan.
We’ve included a ‘Your Orders’ tab which will import all your non-fulfilled orders which do not have a Shipping label created on
Fastway. From here you can create your shipping labels. You can also view each order individually and create a Shipping label
via the More Actions tab.
Once you’ve created a shipping label the application will mark your order as Fulfilled and record the tracking number.

Depending on your setup a notification will be sent out to the consignee.

Print labels
You can print shipping labels directly from within Shopify to any printer or simply automate the
process by printing directly from
your Fastway Customer portal to a linked label printer.
